The much awaited fashion extravaganza India Runway Week Season 8 Summer/Spring Edition commenced at Thdyagraj Stadium. Adding glamorous quotient to the show India’s most fashion forward beauty brand, Colorbar coming on board as “Make-Up Partner”.
Young Established Designer from Mumbai Ken Ferns opened the show . The collection is inspired by paper craft and its geometric forms in the real world – Kern Ferns call it ‘Soda’, as it’s a perfect blend of real to diagrams. Soda interprets energy, fizz and an outburst of zest and that is exactly what Kern Ferns portraying through his latest collection which is India’s all season fashion, light but yet impactful. Colorbar launched in a stunning collaborative fashion showcase with designer; Ken Ferns at the opening show at IRW Season 8.

Harsha Bindu Nuthakki has come up with fresh and cool prints.the styles are from 1940 to 1950 which are having long capes, cape blouses with ruffles, pleates desgins with dffferents are drapes. The prints which they choose for this summer is cool kiwi prints and toucan bird prints. For the theme they mainly used fresh colours like white, green, parrot green black. Prints (kiwi and toucan birds) with delicate embriodary.the collection is more of ready to wear indowestern stuff with different prints, capes and cuts.
GAURIKA SHARMA wows the crowd with her SOUTACHE LABEL. Designer Gaurika Sharma showcased her spring / summer collection .The theme is ‘ ‘Nihon Kara’ or ‘inspired by Japan’. The garments were soft and flowing in keeping with the oriental theme.
First day programme ended with Designer Varija Bajaj. Her collection titled VRINDAVAN at India Runway Week is a social revolt against “the discrimination” “the inauspiciousness” and “the sigma” attached to a widow demanding her right to look and be Beautiful. Indian Kathak Dancer Shovana Narain sizzled the ramp as a showstopper for them.
Colorbar launched its Summer 2017 Limited Edition Collection – Feel the Rain at India Runway Week. This collection brings to life the freshness and romance triggered by the nostalgia of the Indian monsoon after a spell of scorching heat. Four looks created from the newly launched collection formed a part of the key makeup trends for IRW this season. Colorbar also lent its expertise to the entire event, with the brand’s make-up artists supporting backstage for all the shows held during these days.
