Amritsari Food festival is being celebrated at Dilli 32 in The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Delhi. The festival is currently ongoing after getting a huge start on 20th of April. It was great to get an invite to be a part of this festival and enjoy these delicious recipes prepared by Chef De Cuisine Ashwani Kumar Singh who recreated some of the most intriguing dishes from his latest culinary expedition to the serene city of Amritsar.
Starting at only INR 2000 (Price for two) ,the Amritsari Food festival offers the perfect indulgence for all food lovers with a wide range of Punjabi dishes to choose from – both vegetarian and non-vegetarian as well as drinks.
The food festival at Leela brings authentic deliacies like bharmey aloo potohari, bhatti da murga pindiwala, langer di daal fry, gur ka halwa and select eclectic concoctions such as lassi, and kanjee.
I started with the delicious Tikki Rajma diyan which tasted perfect and followed it with Chicken Tikka,Amritsari Machli,Seekh Kebab,Bhutteyan de kebab etc. With so many options choose from,It was really difficult for me to taste everything but I can’t resist eating Mutton Rara & their chef special inhouse chicken curry with crisp Kulchas filled with potatoes, roasted onion, ginger and green chillies which was more than awesome. Finally I ended the festival on a sweet note with my favourite Gur ka Halwa and Phirni .
The Festival will go on till 29th April.
