Ravish Kapoor, a well-known brand that specializes in the conceptualisation of invitation cards and unique branding & packaging design recently designed an invitation card that showcased the in-depth details of the latest Movie “Sachin – A Billion Dreams” in a wondrous manner. Not only this, the brilliant artwork delightfully articulated the complete journey of the ‘Master Blaster’ hitherto.
The card entails all the minute details such as Sachin’s outstanding records in an innovative and breath-taking style. The box enclosing the invitation is an add-on to this splendid work which replicates the colour of a typical cricket ball with a border at the lid joining, thus representing a handmade stitching of a traditional cricket ball. Embossed on gold leaf on top of the box, is the movie title: Sachin – A Billion Dreams. A self-print of Wankhede Stadium, where it all started, is UV coated onto the lid, centring the catch phrase from the director of the movie – “Theatres are Turning into Stadiums” in gold leafing.
Once you open the box – a beautiful golden ‘Limited Edition’ bat signed by Sachin Tendulkar is fastened into the lid as a keepsake memento for being one of the luckiest people invited to the premier. The invitation sits below, which has a beautifully crafted image of Sachin is coupled with all his numerous cricket records, finely laser cut together to create Sachin’s image – The Cricket Legend, suited up in his cricket helmet. This sits upon a clear piece of acrylic with the same photograph below that gives a beautiful and an almost 3D effect. Upon opening the invitation are all the event details with the colours of the Indian flag washed across the text and a stadium of cricket fans water marked in the background. A glove clad hand grips an Indian test series bat boldly emblazes Sachin’s hand.
Beneath the invitation in a suede lined, gold accented cavity, is an envelope containing both a letter from the Movie Producer, Ravi Bhagchandka, personally inviting people to know the man behind the legend; You’ll also find two old fashioned styled movie tickets, the most sought after tickets in town that are the entry passes to the premier screening of Sachin – A Billion Dreams.
